The public should be excused from believing that investors are a schizophrenic bunch. A few weeks ago investors had more worries than could be counted and now they are back buying, pushing stock prices up to new highs.  What changed?  Not much, it’s just that the worries were over-blown and the U.S. economy is proving to be doing quite well.  The U.S. GDP grew at a 3.5% rate in the third quarter; far faster than most predicted.  Earnings and outlooks from many important companies are excellent.

So what about the fears? Most will recede into the background, just like the ghouls of Halloween.  We are back to looking at fundamentals; at least for a while.  As we predicted, they are excellent and should be leading to higher prices.

We are looking for much more.  Stay steady, my friends.
