“Jitters”

After a number of weeks of stock market gains, investors suffered a week of jitters. Why not; time to nail down some profits?  For investors probably not, but for traders there are some juicy gains.  It just may be the pause that refreshes.

As for the fundamentals, second quarter earnings have been coming in quite nicely. Sure, there have been a few disappointments, but so far the aggregate appears to be posting a nice gain.  Buying pressure is still high and investors continue to shrug off all manner of bad news headlines.

This market appears to want to go higher.  Stay steady, my friends.
