Hedge Fund

Hedge Fund:  A partnership form of investment structure.  Hedge funds may use leverage and engage in a variety of investment strategies.  Normally, hedge funds participate in the profits of the partnership as well as earning a base fee on the asset level.  These vary from fund to fund, but 2% fee and 20% of the profits were typical at one time.
