At the end of 2013, we made the statement that good years usually follow great years. It is nice to reflect on 2014 and feel good about the year that has been; a good year. Although choppy, with more than a few concerns, the underlying fundamentals prevailed. Not only did the economy grow, it accelerated. Companies benefited by increasing both their top and bottom lines.
That momentum carries into the New Year. We believe we might not only have another good year, it could be a great one. The recent U.S economic acceleration could help the rest of the world recover from its malaise and reinforce the positives in our economy. We will find returns in new places and with some new companies; stay tuned.
In the meantime, Happy New Year, stay well and prosper.
