The little winter storm in emerging market currencies and markets is for the time being over. Our stock market is back to looking at U.S. fundamentals and those are good. We did not believe the stock market correction would amount to much and it didn’t. Even the actual winter storm here can’t keep things down. This stock market wants to go higher.
Investors are skittish and subject to quick mood swings. Ignore all that and stay committed. We like the prospect for both the U.S. economy and stock market. Europe and Japan also look good, so we are increasing our commitments there. Volatility is back so expect disruption from time to time.
However, right now, “blue skies are smiling at us.”
