We finally had a correction, and it is mostly over; hope you bought! Even though the U.S. stock market should recover, it will probably not be a “V” bottom. It will take some time and may go back and forth for a while.
Leadership sometimes shifts during a corrective process. Outside the “Magnificent 7” and some other growth names, the other 90 percent of the stocks are carrying the load. These stocks are hardly off. Most of the damage was among the high-growth issues.
Value is now in. These stocks have been cheap for a long time and are now having their day! This does not mean that the growth names will not recover; they will probably just not make new highs anytime soon. Don’t give up on growth — just shift emphasis to a broader approach. Stay steady and enjoy the ride!
