Every time investors begin to regain a little confidence, markets take a dive; right out of the blue, just like a storm. The fact is, markets are still working through a myriad of concerns from a world slow-down, crashing commodity prices bankrupting companies and putting banks under stress, to China falling into a financial apocalypse. Gradually, time and evidence are dispelling these and others, but the fact is there is a lot of uncertainty.
Not to mention, one of the weirdest presidential campaign seasons ever has to keep things a little unsettled on its own. However, fundamentals are important and outside of the obvious problem sectors, they are good. Stock markets are recovering, but it may take time; that and earnings growth are the eventual cure. Stay steady, my friends.
