Peter E. Bower

Peter Bower has more than 40 years of investment experience and co-founded Riverplace Capital Management in 1998.

Well-versed in many aspects of the investment world, he oversees the Investment Management Committee and provides strategic guidance for all of the firm’s activities, with a focus on investment management, models, investment processes, institutional portfolio management, and analysis. An experienced investor, entrepreneur, financier, and financial manager, Mr. Bower also manages Riverplace Analytics, LLC, a financing arm for private opportunities, and is a sponsor of the family of Piranha Funds. These entities serve a variety of clients from high-net-worth individuals to private and public institutions.

Mr. Bower began his career with Merrill Lynch as a Financial Consultant, advancing to Vice President and working there for over 18 years. Prior to forming Riverplace Capital, Mr. Bower joined St. Johns Investment Management Co., Inc. as a Principal & Senior Vice President. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Quantitative Systems and a master’s degree in Business Administration. He has held NASD Series 7 & 63 Registered Representatives and Series 8 General Securities Sales Supervisor licenses.

He previously served on the Executive Committee of The Board of Directors for The Museum of Contemporary Art-Jacksonville and The Florida Ballet and was a mayoral appointee to the Jacksonville Electric Authority (JEA) Board.
