It has been a terrific year for stock market returns. For those, we have a lot to be grateful. However, we all have much in our lives that is more important than that. Our partners, families, and friends all come to mind. Our communities, our country, and peace should be a part of our gratitude. This time of the year should invite reflection and appreciation.
Markets “will fluctuate,” remarked J.P. Morgan a long time ago. This should not set our attitudes and appreciation for all the important things in our lives. Remember to smile and say, “Thank you.” Also, do not forget others who may be in need and could use the lift of a little help from you. At Riverplace Capital, we show our appreciation and support many charities and endeavors, financially and by volunteering our time. We hope you will do so too. In the meantime, stay steady my friends.
