It’s Looking a Lot Like Christmas

By Peter Bower

Decorations are out, people are shopping, and the smells are delightful.  Christmas is a happy time of year.

That mood usually transfers to a more optimistic outlook by investors.  In fact, the Christmas season, typically, is a good one for the stock market.  As moods are elevated, so are stock prices.

This year looks like it will be typical.  So barring any significant and unexpected event, markets should rally into the end of this year and beyond; this seasonal strength usually lasts until spring.

So far, this market has even shrugged off the recent terror attacks in Paris; life goes on!

Enjoy the season and stay steady, my friends.
