In The Lonely Bull

“Doc, I’m afraid.”

“What are you afraid of?”

“Everything, but mostly I don’t want to lose my money.”

“How are things going?”

“Actually, quite well, but they might not.”

“What could change things from going well, to suddenly going badly?”

“Nothing and everything, I just don’t know.”

So here we are again, macro and global events loom large and uncertain as to their eventual impact.  We have to admit that we cannot see the future either, but we doubt that the known events are big enough to derail our strengthening economy.  So far this year, we have sold more positions than we replaced.  This is to have some cash.  If we have to, we will raise more.

So far this downturn looks to be rather mild.  We are closely watching events, but our experience tells us that this downturn will soon run its course.  We are ready to pounce either way.  Stay steady my friends.
