Stock market investors are now past anticipating good things from the new Trump administration. They want to see what actually emerges. Talk is always cheap; what can and will actually be implemented? Congress may be more reasonable, but still may not go along with everything. There will be much debate about certain initiatives. Democracy is messy and takes time.
We all wish for the best, but there is still much debate about how potential policy changes will affect the broad economy. There are always complex interactions and possible unexpected consequences. So what is an investor to do but wait and see. That seems to be where we are now. We believe in fundamentals, so show me.
Stay steady, my friends.
