That is the U.S. Not that we don’t have plenty of problems, it’s just that there are less than many other places in the world. Our dollar has been gaining strength against other major currencies. This partially reflects the good investment environment here. Many investors throughout the rest of the world are drawn to the opportunities in America. We are once again at the center of a new technological revolution: Artificial Intelligence. Others want in!
Our past leadership, first with the internet, then smartphones, has now been extended to AI and all the opportunities that it will generate. It is an exciting time. The buildout of infrastructure continues at a maddening pace. This will continue for some time yet. However, we are also beginning to see more use cases for AI. New services and businesses will be built around these. It is difficult to imagine all the possibilities.
Yes, we have an inflation problem and higher interest rates than we would like. An election looms before us with uncertainty regarding some policies. These issues pale in the face of the opportunity before us. Remember, good economic growth helps solve many of these issues. AI will help generate that. Stay positive and stay steady my friends.
