The U.S. stock market has absorbed worries about the Dutch and French elections and what they mean for the future of Europe, concerns about economic slowing after a weak first quarter, and a potential conflict with North Korea.  There are others such as Syria and the wider Middle East as well as potential for a trade war.

Yet, the market is near its high and seems quite resilient.

A wide variety of companies in many different sectors have been reporting outstanding earnings.  They have also indicated that the outlook for the year is good.
